The market is witnessing a strong presence of genuine buyers as compared to investors, which earlier had a dominant position in the market. No doubt, the prices of property have seen a correction of about 20 per cent. Still the prices remain out of reach for a common person. Moreover, the interest rates for home loans have also reached a level that affordability through loans has also suffered. All these factors have culminated in the emergence of one bedroom, hall, kitchen (one BHK) concept.
Echoing the identical views that there is a great demand for one-BHK across the tricity, leading developer JS Bajwa of Sunny Enclave, said that they were also coming up with one-BHK accommodation in Sector 74-A of Mohali. “The Imperial Apartments is one of the first in Mohali to offer one BHK accommodation,” said Bajwa. Sharing further details, he said that the tentative cost of the apartment spread over an area of 640 square feet is Rs 13.5 lakh. He further said that the relatively low degree of volatility involved in one BHK apartments adds attractiveness to the product. |
